May 04,  · On Who's Next they finally delivered a cohesive Rock Album, and this is easily as good as the Who get in the studio. The Ox is fantastic throughout, Daltry is a bit weak on a couple of tunes, but this is a classic album with great use of the synthesiser on their greatest tune "Won't Get Fooled Again"/5().

The folks at MCA should be banished to an Island where they play Helen Reddy all day for what they did to this album in release throughout the '70 and '80s with the horrible quality of this release. The CD deluxe remaster in the '90s was a dramatic improvement with lots of bonus tracks etc But, let's face facts, it is still a CD and not vinyl.

I love this album. I also owned the vinyl LP and lost it in a devastating house fire in April, I have great memories of listening to this album. I was very pleased to find it on Amazon. There are many great pieces on this album. There are no songs on it that I dont like. /5(9).

Mar 05,  · Because of the huge demand for the LP PRIOR to its release in the UK (generated by The Who's amazing concert performances immediately prior to the release of the LP), my guess is that a lacquer initially cut by Mr. Sax in the US was shipped to the UK to .
